Swami Vivekananda Medical Mission (SVMM) conducted a free medical camp on Sunday, March 17, including free services of general medicine, orthopedic and pediatric department doctors at Nayamakkad Estate Hospital. The inauguration of the medical camp as a part of the “Idukki Oru Midukki” project of the Idukki district administration was held at 9:30 am, Kannandevan Estate Welfare Officer, KDHP Hospital Medical Officer, other employees and workers of the estate were present. Beneficiaries were from four villages namely Kannimala, Rajamala, Katallar and Nayamakkad which are part of Kannandevan Estate. More than 200 workers of the divisions took part in the medical camp. SVMM staff and KDHP hospital staff made arrangements for smooth running of the camp.
