Aarohana program organized by Abhyudaya for all-round development of underprivileged and socially deprived children was held at SVYASA University Jigani on 1st January 2023. This program was conducted at the cluster level for the past two years in the wake of the covid pandemic. Huge gathering of 3000+ comprising of children, teachers, judges, volunteers, donors & well-wishers was very happy to participate in this mega event.

Various competitions like Drama, Drawing, Science Experiments, Essay, Pick and Speak and Ekaatmatha Stotra were organized. More than 2,000 children from various districts like Bangalore North, Bangalore South, Bangalore Rural, Chikkaballapur, Ramanagara and Tumkur have participated in the competitions with great enthusiasm. In addition to Abhyudaya FLCs, the students belonged to various organizations such as – Nele Foundation, Abhayashrama, Amrutha Shishu Nivasa, Samuha Samsthe, Sampattu, Vivekananda Kendriya Vidyalaya and Karnataka Public School (KPS) -Sarakki.

Dr. Nagendra Guruji, Chancellor of SVYASA University, Dr. SV Sharma Deputy Director, ISRO and Dr. Sangeetha GN, Documentarist of NMKRV College inaugurated the programme and inspired the students. The guests expressed their appreciation to see that Abhyudaya is working towards inculcating positive thinking, patriotic competitive spirit and winning attitude in the underprivileged children.

All the winners across these competitions who exhibited their talent had opportunities to win multiple prizes. At the end of the event, return gifts were given to all the students, volunteers, jury members and transportation personnel. All the halls, rooms and corridors were cleaned and handed back to the S-VYASA staff.

It is a matter of pride for Abhyudaya that children inspired by Aarohana have won awards & accolades in state and national level competitions.
