Mysuru branch of Abhyudaya, conducted yearly event “Aarohana” at Gopalaswamy Shishuvihara High School & Pre-University College (Sankalpa) assembling 300 underprivileged students. These students participated in various competitions like Drawing, Essay writing , Pick and speak, Singing, Shlokas recital, Dance and Drama, Scientific experiments, Rangoli and Quiz. Participants were from Abhyudaya Kalikakendras ( Free Learning Centers) at Raghavendranagara, Vasanthapura, Shivapura, CFTRI quarters, TV Srinivasan memorial building, Gopalaswamy school and Bannuru Sharada school. Program was inaugurated by chief guest Shri Nagarajan Srinivasan, Ex Infosys and Start-up advisor and Shri Venugopal. Shri Venugopal  explained how Abhyudaya can help socially deprived children in education and character building. Shri Nagarajan Srinivasan motivated the students to utilize the free services offered by Abhyudaya. He assured support from his side to students willing to do hard work and excel.

Several students had the opportunity to win multiple prizes across competitions. All the participants, volunteers, security personnel, drivers and jury members were given the return gifts.

Shri Bellur Paneendra, in-charge of Abhyudaya’s activities in Mysore region, Shri KN Krishna Prasad, coordinator Gopalaswamy school, Shri Ram Prasad, HM Gopalaswamy School and staff helped in conducting program smoothly.
