Shri. Nagaraj Hegde, Plant Head of German company – Wieland Metals, Bengaluru has visited Abhyudaya on Jan 5th, 2019. He interacted with Abhyudaya SSLC students on the Practical Oriented Technical Course options after 10th standard viz: GTTC or NTTF.
Shri. Nagaraj has around 30 years of industrial experience in Tool and Die Making industry, he worked with Wieland Metals, Singapore for several years before relocating to Bengaluru to setup and head their plant operations in Bommasandra.
Shri. Nagaraj started the conversation with students on his childhood in a small village near Sirsi, and his subsequent education towards JOC – NTTF and GTTC after SSLC exams.
Govt. Tool Room and Training Centre (GTTC) was setup in 1972 at Bangalore with the participation of the Karnataka State Government, in collaboration with the Government of Denmark. The main objective of this institute is to serve the manufacturing industry by way of precision tooling, supplying skilled manpower to meet the needs of the global requirement and providing well trained craftsmen in the area of Tool and Die making. GTTC has over 20 centers in Karnataka and it’s 3+1 year course.
