Abhyudaya is serving the society with the objective of “Educate, Everyone, Everywhere.” Team Abhyudaya visited remote rural government schools in Magadi Taluk, Ramanagara District on August 15th to celebrate the Independence Day with the underprivileged students in those schools.
Abhyudaya volunteers visited 13 Government schools in the villages of Hombalammanpete, Nethenahalli, Gummasandra, Vyasaraynapalya, Uduvegere, Managallu, Balenahalli, Heligehalli, Huluvenahalli, Mathikere, Mathikere Colony and Gattipura, Gattipura village.
All the volunteers were very happy to participate in Flag hoisting and reciting National Anthem with the kids. They were very excited to watch the cultural activities – Dance/Skit/Songs/Drama…etc. performed by the children.
Team Abhyudaya honoured the HM, Teachers, Cook, Cleaners and all the Anganwadi staff at the respective schools.
The basic requirements of the students – books, pens, pencils, erasers, sharpeners, scales, tiffin boxes, school bags were distributed to all the students.
The volunteers contributed for story books, wall clock, carpets, mats, towels, Green board, NaliKali Table and sports items like chess board, carrom, football, basketball, and also softballs and distributed Sweets and Fruits to the kids.
All the school staff, children, locals, youth groups, SDMC and Grama Panchayat members were very happy with the support and they expressed interest in associating with Abhyudaya in the future across all the activities.
After the celebrations, all the 250+ volunteers gathered at Dakshinamurthy Temple and shared their experiences. Shri Nataraj, Senior full-time volunteer and Shri Arun, Administrator of Janaseva Vidyakendra gave an overview of the ongoing projects including PARAM innovation. The Team enjoyed a wonderful lunch at Janaseva Vidyakendra, Channenahalli.
After a couple of patriotic songs, the volunteers took photographs with the National Flag and the program was concluded by remembering the service rendered by freedom fighters.
