Abhyudaya’s Unnati Center, supported by Karnataka Bank was inaugurated by Shri Sekhar Rao, Executive Director, Karnataka Bank on 23rd June 2024. During the inaugural speech, he encouraged the students to utilize all the facilities at the Unnati center and take up science during their higher studies.
Shri Sekhar Rao interacted with all the students who demonstrated various experiments in Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Mathematics, Robotics, etc.
Karnataka Bank Unnati STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) center has more than 200 kits for children from class 5 to class 12. The Science lab can support more than 2000 children every year. It will help children from lower income group, Government schools learn basic concepts of Math and Science through experiential learning, in line with the NEP.
As part of the Digital Inclusion activities at the Unnati center, housewives and mothers of FLC students will be trained on basic computer skills, cyber security and financial literacy.
