Cypress semiconductors Inc. donated Rs. 10 lakhs towards the purchase of 40 desktops which were distributed to 40 needy students in the Byrasandra, Nakkalu Bande and Tilaknagar areas on 11/04/21. Mr. Santosh Bhat from the CSR wing of Cypress addressed the students and advised them to utilize the desktops for productive educational purposes.
Prof. Vidyashankar, Advisory Board Member, Abhyudaya gave an overview of the seva (service) activities and the process of selecting beneficiaries at Abhyudaya.
Mr. Kashyam Sridhar, Social Entrepreneur stressed the importance of service activities and advised the students to make themselves and the donors proud of their achievements.
After the distribution event, Abhyudaya volunteers visited each of the beneficiaries’ homes and installed the desktop computers along with associated software.
