Abhyudaya , an initiative from Keshav Kripa Samvardhana Samiti (R), Bengaluru has taken up an initiative in safeguarding the front line social and health workers across Bangalore municipality wards during this pandemic. Pourakarmikas (Street Sweepers and Garbage van drivers), Frontline COVID test assistants (Asha karyakarte) and Police personnel are our key defence while fighting against corona. Most of them are under privileged, deprived of basic health benefits, but exposed to adverse conditions. Hence, Safeguarding their health is critical to society.

Abhyudaya taken up a project to educate underprivileged Social and Health workers on the safety measures and provide them PPE kit and herbal medicine (kashaya) as a health care preventive steps. This activity started from Gandhi Jayanti (Oct. 2) onwards with initial target to reach over 10,000 underprivileged beneficiaries.
In the current week of Deepavali, Abhyudaya has distributed over 700 underprivileged Pourakarmikas (Street sweepers and Garbage van drivers) at their work location in below BBMP wards. And also Abhyudaya volunteers educated them on the health safety tips.
