As part of Livelihood and Environment initiative, Abhyudaya supported by Mastek Foundation provided coconut saplings to farmers of Heggadalli village, Nanjanagudu Taluk on 20th May 2023. The program took place in presence of Shri Prakash, President of Gram Panchayat, Heggadalli and Shri Prasanna Murthy, coconut nursery owner.
Total 300 coconut saplings were given to 6 farmers under the Livelihood program which was initiated during DaanUtsav. Coconut trees will help the marginal farmers with stable income in the long run. It will also help in preventing soil erosion.
