Abhyudaya, a project of Keshava Kripa Samvardhana Samiti, organized Aarohana competitions on 28th January 2024 Sunday at Gopalswamy Shishuvihara proudashala, Mysuru.
Aarohana is a platform, provided to socially deprived students to exhibit their talents.
The guests of honor in this program were Shri Praveen Kumar S, Deputy CEO & Head, Swami Vivekananda Youth Movement, Shri Ranganath Iyengar, Executive Committee member of Abhyudaya. Shri Praveen Kumar told the children about ISRO and the importance of space and technology.
Shri Laxminarayan, Chief Functionary of Abhyudaya, Shri Paneendra Bellur, In-charge of Abhyudaya Mysore, Shri Manish, Project Coordinator of Abhyudaya Mysore, Kum. Sindhu and Kum. Meghana, senior teachers of Abhyudaya and 50 volunteers, 25 teachers, 30 judges, more than 400 children were present.
Nearly 8 buses were arranged for the transportation of the students by Bharath International Travels(Mysore) Pvt. Ltd, around 200 children from 9 Free Learning Centers, Sharada Nele and Ajita Nele in Mysore city and 200 children from various parts of rural areas like Narasamangala, Somwarpet, Nagamangala, Harohalli, HD Kote around Mysore.
The competitions included Essay on Traffic Rules, Dance, Drawing on Ayodhya, Rangoli, Quiz, Patriotic Song and Ekatmata Stotra. Prizes were awarded to the winners and return gifts were given to all the participants.
All the donors and organizations who contributed to this Mega event were acknowledged.
After this mega event, volunteers actively participated in Swachatha (cleaning the campus) and felt the success of this mega event. Abhyudaya volunteers and jury members enjoyed this mega event as much if not more than students.
