In continuation of the conference call held on 14th August 2021 in presence of Smt. Smriti Irani, Minister of Women and Child Development, Government of India, Sri Lakshminarayan, Chief Functionary & Prof. Vidyashankar, Advisory Board Member from Abhyudaya met Dr. Shekhar Sheshadri and Smt. Sheila Ramaswamy at the Child Psychiatry department of NIMHANS.
Good discussions were held about the training programs for counseling offered at NIMHANS and the activities conducted at Abhyudaya.
It was decided that the teachers from the Free Learning Centers (FLCs) of Abhyudaya should participate and benefit from the training workshops conducted at NIMHANS.
It was also decided that Dr. Shekhar Sheshadri and Smt. Sheila Ramaswamy would give an overview of the NIMHANS’ counseling programs at the teachers’ meeting of Abhyudaya on 29th August 2021.
