Abhyudaya KKSS Successfully hosted its flagship event “Aarohana” a mega scientific competition exclusively designed for socially deprived students at Kalaburgi on 19.01.2025. The event brought together around 250 students and 100 volunteers from various FLC clusters across Kalaburagi district. This event took place at Shri Vishweshwaraiah Higher Primary School, Tengli village, Tq. Kalagi, Kalaburagi, Karnataka.
The programme was inaugurated by Shri. Sha. Bra. Dr. Shantha Somanatha Shivacharya, Shanteshwar Matha, Tengli and Mangalagi Matha, Shri. Sha. Bra. Dr. Trimurthi Shivacharya, Mahanteshwara Matha, Totnalli Tq. Sedam, Shri. Ashok Patil, Sanghachalak, Kalaburagi District
During inaugural speech both Swamijis narrated the thought process behind Abhyudaya in general and Aarohana event in particular. They encouraged all the students to utilize all the programs under Abhyudaya and give back to society as well.
The competitions featured Dance, Mimicry, Drawing, Ekatmata Stotra, Mono Acting, and Clay Modeling. Winners were honored with prizes, and all participants received return gifts as a token of appreciation.
Our esteemed judges were highly impressed by the creativity, innovation, and confidence showcased by the students. Despite the fierce competition, the event was marked by a strong spirit of camaraderie and sportsmanship. Corporate volunteers from GE Healthcare, IBM, Microsoft, Halton India PVT LTD, WS Audiology actively contributed to the event, assisting with tasks such as crowd control, food service, and more.
Following the successful conclusion of this grand event, the volunteers eagerly took part in a Swachhata (campus cleaning) drive, leaving with a profound sense of fulfillment. Both the Abhyudaya volunteers and the jury members thoroughly enjoyed the event, perhaps even more than the students themselves.
