The 27th Punarprathishtapane Varshikotsava (Anniversary) of Shri Varadanjaneya Swamy Temple was celebrated at RBI Layout, JP Nagar on 31st August 2026.
On this special occasion, every year, the Temple Trust has been distributing scholarships to deserving students identified by Abhyudaya.
This year, Vidyanidhi was given to 49 students including 10 blind students from Saksham with an aggregate amount of Rs 7,82,500. The beneficiaries included students from undergraduate and post graduate degrees in Science, Commerce and Engineering. Our students spoke in Sanskrit about their experience at Abhyudaya and thanked the Temple Trust.
The function was attended by the students along with their parents. Scholarship cheques were distributed to the students by the donors.
Shri S Vishwanath Pai, Secretary of Devasthana Seva Trust spoke about the growth of the temple, reaching out to larger sections of society through Abhyudaya and explained briefly about the Vidyanidhi scheme.
Shri Padma Prasad, the Chief Guest of the program called upon the students to make best use of the support and to come up well in life.
Dr. Suresh motivated students to give back to society through the temple/ Abhyudaya.
