Abhyudaya volunteers visited 122 rural Government schools across India, reaching out to 9,000+ students.
All the volunteers were very happy to participate in Flag hoisting and reciting National Anthem with the kids. They were very excited to watch the cultural activities – Dance/Skit/Songs/Drama, etc. performed by the children.
Team Abhyudaya honored the HM, Teachers, Cook, Housekeeping, Security and all the Anganwadi staff at the respective schools.
The basic requirements of the students – books, pens, pencils, erasers, sharpeners, scales, tiffin boxes, school bags and other essentials were distributed to all the students.
Corporate volunteers : HPE, IBM, Oracle, Cisco, Accenture, Intouch, Wipro, Wells Fargo, Velokofi & Happy Miles, Shashwath Nidhi Bank and Techverve.
The volunteers contributed for story books, wall clock, carpets, mats, towels, Green board, and sports items like chess board, carrom, football, basketball, and also softballs and distributed Sweets and Fruits to the kids.
All the school staff, children, locals, youth groups, SDMC and Grama Panchayat members were very happy with the support and they expressed interest in associating with Abhyudaya in the future across all the activities.
After the celebrations in Bengaluru, all the 300+ volunteers gathered at Nemmadi Farm House at Sasalapura and performed Rudra chanting.
Volunteers shared their experiences followed by a sumptuous meal.
